Helping to save the environment High school seniors have been working on several fronts

The graduating classes of 2011 are inheriting an Earth that has been steadily suffering due to generations of environmental abuse and neglect, but they have been taking many steps to rectify the situation by urging greater awareness and through their own hands-on efforts.

Their generation is more aware of environmental issues than my generation is. Our kids are constantly telling me about things I could do around campus to help the environment,” said John Walker, principal of St. Vincent de Paul High School.
